This week we hosted the several key leaders from Stella Maris School in BSD at SVP. They spent some time discussing how we implement the national exams alongside MYP and our pans to introduce International Baccalaureate Diploma into the school. Of course, we also gave them a school tour and they were very impressed with our campus, in particular our Reading Corners.
As leaders in education in Bekasi and the East of Jakarta we are always happy to host any schools who would like to visit to benchmark their school against ours. As I mentioned to them, as SPK schools we do not need to be fearful of competition, but rather we need to work together to help improve the understanding of what it means to be an international standard school or SPK among the general public, and in particular prospective parents and the government. These efforts will only improve education across Indonesia and make our jobs easier.
